Since 2013, SAILAZORES YACHT CHARTER has been carrying annually an action for compensation of its carbon footprint generated by the use of our sailing yachts - mainly fuel and organic waste - by planting endemic trees in various places, especially in Horta, Faial, where we have our main operational base. We created there the “Sailazores Forrest”, a dedicated and exclusive area in the beautiful Protected Landscape of Monte da Guia, in Horta.
