It is the least mountainous of the Azores, reaching a maximum altitude of 402 meters. The landscape of Graciosa is of great beauty, combining the green pastures with white isolated houses and villages. It has flattened and fertile fields that produce vegetables, fruit and wine and where it raises cattle, being today the main source of wealth of the island.
